Daniel J. McKee, age 66, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023.  Danny was surrounded by his two nieces, Shanee and Sister Loretta-Maria at the hour of his death.

Danny was born in Havertown, PA where he lived most of his life.  He lived in High Springs, FL for a number of years before moving to Richmond Hill two years ago.  He was an avid golfer and loved his nieces and nephews. Danny was a firefighter and EMT for Havertown Township. Danny began his career in 1973 and served for 40 years. Danny rose from the ranks of firefighter to lieutenant, captain and Assistant Chief. He was a paramedic for over 25 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Loretta McKee; a brother, Frank McKee; and a nephew, Shane McKee.

Danny is survived by his brothers and sisters, Jim McKee, Tim McKee, Steve McKee, Pete McKee, Euie McKee, Andrew McKee,  Joe McKee, Anne Blakney, Loretta McKee, Molly Hoogendoorn, and Becky McKee; 13 nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the Our Lady of Confidence Carmelite Monastery, 11 West Back Street, Savannah, GA 31419
