Dale D. Mathews, age 73, passed away peacefully, Friday, September 1, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Dale was born in Vidalia, GA.  She lived for many years in Savannah before moving to Richmond Hill 20 years ago.  She retired after 35 years as the office manager for Groover Family Dentistry.

In her spare time, Dale loved to work on her family ancestry.  She was the family planner and organizer.  Dale loved planning family get together's and she enjoyed baking.

Dale was preceded in death by a son, Mark Mathews and a brother, Rusty Driggers.

She is survived by her husband, Tony Mathews of Richmond Hill; two sons, Kevin Mathews of Savannah and Nicholas Mathews (June) of Baxley, GA; her sisters, Evelyn Wiechmann and Nellie Boyles both of Guyton; a brother, Wayne Driggers (Rose) of Guyton; her sister-in-law, Antionette Ryan (Michael) of Savannah; her grandchilden, Olivia Summers, Alex Mathews, and Mahalley Young; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 7, 2023 at the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah.
