Courtney Conrad Williams, age 81, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation Center.

C.C. was born in Roanoke, VA.  He graduated from Cradock High School in Portsmouth, VA.  He has lived many years in Richmond Hill.  C.C. retired from Arizona Chemical Company as a chemical operator.

You could frequently see C.C. at Plums Restaurant sitting and talking to everyone that came in.  He especially liked the pretty ladies no matter where he was at.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Bazemore Williams.

C.C. is survived by his sister, Ruby Outten of Newport News, VA and his brother, Kyle Williams of Newport News, VA.

C.C. and Maria hosted 2 very special exchange students, Walter Verbeek and Marc Van Veem, who they remained in touch for many years.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 14, 2023 at St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church on Highway 144 in Richmond Hill.
