Cheri Joan Newbury of Richmond Hill, Georgia, passed away on October 22, 2025. She was born on May 7, 1970, and lived in Richmond Hill all her life.

Cheri was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her dogs, Susie and Winter, and she especially loved her grandbabies, who knew her as a devoted and caring Nana.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Hylan Owens. She is survived by her mother, Joan Paul; her husband, Donald Newbury; two daughters, Julia Craig (Jacob) and Amber Spadaccini (Nicholas); two sons, Jason Tomson and Joshua (Scarlet) Tomson; her siblings, Scott Owens, Lance Owens (Shannon), Glenda Watkins (Dennis), and Clint Owens. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 10 nieces and nephews.

Cheri will be remembered with love by all who knew her.

A Graveside service will be held on October 28, 2025 at 11am at Burnt Church Cemetery.
