Charles "Ron" Ronald Finger passed away Monday September 17th, 2018 at his home in Richmond Hill, Ga. Ron succumbed to cancer after a long hard-fought battle. He leaves behind his wife of 51 years Geneva Finger; three children: Chanda Hoover (Jerry), Phillip Finger (Michelle) and Frank Finger (Colleen); three grandchildren, Elaina Hoover, Tyler Hoover, and Matthew Hoover; two brothers, George Finger and Brent Finger.

Ron was born in McMinnville, TN on October 28th, 1944 to parents Charles Finger and Katherine Finger. Ron married Geneva Lyle on February 13, 1967. He took a job in Nashville, TN and then transferred with the company to Albuquerque, NM. This is where he and his family settled for a little over a decade until a new position pulled Ron to Charleston, SC. He had one last move in store to Savannah, GA where he spent the last decade of his career. Ron was an avid golfer with a passion for the sport, and after his retirement he played golf as often as he could until he became ill. He was a wonderful husband, father and friend. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Visitation will be held at High's Funeral Home, 101 College St., McMinnville, TN 37110 on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 1:45 pm.  Graveside funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. View Cemetery, 209 Mountain St., McMinnville, TN 37110.
