Carolyn Janice Robinson went to be with the Lord on March 5, 2018. She was born April 13, 1940 to Einer and Gladys Hemmingson in Alpena, Michigan.  She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, four sisters, and her late husband William Robinson.  She is survived by her children and spouses: Michael and Geraldine Hodges, Thomas and Mitzi Hodges, Joseph Hodges, David and Amy Hodges, Deborah Henson, Diane and Jim Cowley, Cassie and Chris Marsh, William and Tara Hodges.  Her loving legacy includes twenty-seven grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.  She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.  She worked many years as a weaver at Jefferson Mills.  She loved to watch us play softball.  She loved to garden and could nurture any plant to grow strong and beautiful like they were her children as well.

Michael..Our Mother was a very caring soul. She made many sacrifices throughout her life to ensure her children were taken care of to the best of her ability.  I will always love and cherish the memories of her.  Rest in Peace Mom.

Tom..I always loved and appreciated all the love and care she put into making all the delicious food for our family.

Joe..Our mother you will be missed more than words can ever say. I love you mom.

Dave..Mom always put us first.

Deb..My momma always had the softest hands like she never worked a day in her life, but she worked very hard her whole life to raise her children. I'm so grateful for everything she did for me and my children.  I love her a bushel and a peck.  See you later hot rod.

Diane..We never doubted how much she loved us. She taught us all to work hard and to always be there for each other.  She was a bright light to us all.  My children are blessed to have had you in our lives every day.

Cassie..Mom opened her heart to me 32 years ago. She loved and cared for me as one of her own children.  Mom always told me that her loving me was automatic.  She did that no matter what.  She was an amazing mom.

Willie..Mom you were such a wonderful parent. I will try to have the love and compassion with children as you have shown to us.  Stella and Evie shall never forget their nanny.

Jim..I'm going to miss her every day. She would always say "Whatcha doing boy?"  Please take care of my dad and my little nephew Rhett up there in Heaven.

We will lay her to rest beside her father, Friday, March 9, 2018 in Phenix City, AL. Gone from our sight but never gone from our hearts.  We love you Mom!
Visitation will be held from 3-4pm, Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 4 pm.
Graveside services will be held on Friday at 2 pm at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City, AL.
