Carolyn Jenkins, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2020.

Carolyn was born in Lyons, GA.  She lived in Shellman Bluff for over 20 years before moving to Naples, Florida a few years ago.

Carolyn was a social butterfly.  She loved to dance and meet people. She was the manager of Dairy Queen in Waynesboro, GA for over 20 years and after that she worked various jobs as a cake decorator and at a golf shop.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lloyd Jenkins and a close friend, Ted Petronis.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Cathy Allen (Troy) of Naples, FL; her son, Noel Meeks (Sherri) of North Carolina; five brothers and sisters; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 28, 2020 at Shellman Bluff Baptist Church Cemetery in Townsend, GA.
