Carol Ann Jayroe passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Carol was born in Detroit, MI. She lived in Wilmington Island for many years before moving to Midway in 2003. She worked for M & M Grocery and then Kroger as the Deli Manager, retiring after 20 years of service.

Carol was an artist and loved to travel and go bowling.

She is survived by her husband, Ken Jayroe of Midway; her daughter, Kim Jayroe of New Orleans; two sons, Ken Jayroe, III (Natalie) of New Orleans and Kevin Jayroe of Wilmington Island; a sister, Laurie Theroet of Orlando; 5 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
