Carol Ann Plambeck Gardner, age 78, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024 at her residence.

Carol was born in Chicago, IL.  She lived a number of years in Savannah before moving to Richmond Hill in 1986.  She retired as a Child Psychologist after many years with the Liberty County Board of Education.

Carol liked making and selling pottery clay.  She loved her cats, Lucy and Squirt.

The family of Carol Gardner would like to thank her many caregivers for their love and care they gave her.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Gardner; her parents, August and Virginia Plambeck; her two brothers, Raymond Plambeck and Arthur Plambeck.

She is survived by her brother-in-law, Phil Gardner (Terry); and her cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
