In Loving Memory of Carly Donna Holubik (Vojslavek), 31, and her unborn daughter Lila Caroline Holubik.

On Thursday, April 3, 2025, Carly Donna Holubik and her unborn daughter, Lila Caroline Holubik, passed away unexpectedly in Bloomingdale, Georgia. Carly was 31 years old.

Carly was a loving wife, devoted mother, daughter, sister, teacher, and friend. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother to her two boys, whom she loved fiercely and wholeheartedly. A passionate educator, Carly inspired countless students with her kindness, creativity, and unwavering dedication.

Born on April 6, 1993, in Naperville, Illinois, Carly was the beloved daughter of William and Jo Ann (Corriero) Vojslavek. She grew up with a strong sense of family and compassion that guided her throughout her life.

In January 2020, Carly married the love of her life, Eric Holubik. Together, they built a beautiful life, raising two sons, Owen (4) and Colton (2), who were the center of Carly's world.

Carly is survived by her husband, Eric, and their sons, Owen and Colton; her mother and stepfather, Jo Ann and Jeff Mayer; her brother, Jake ( Ashley) Vojslavek, her sister, Grace (David) Okrzesik, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and students whose lives she touched deeply. She was preceded in death by her father, William Vojslavek, and her grandparents.

Carly attended Eastern Illinois University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Special Education. For the last three years, she proudly served as an 8th grade special education teacher at South Effingham Middle School. Carly brought compassion, patience, and dedication into her classroom every day, believing in every student's potential and working tirelessly to help them grow.

Outside of teaching, Carly found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved to read, write, and spend time with family. A proud Disney enthusiast, she never passed up the chance to sprinkle a little magic into her day or her kids' lives.

Carly's legacy is one of unconditional love, quiet strength, and fierce devotion to her family and students. She was deeply loyal to her loved ones and had a unique gift for turning everyday moments into lifelong memories—whether it was a car ride sing-along or a bedtime story. As a teacher, Carly didn't just teach – she uplifted and inspired. Her students knew they were seen, supported, and believed in. Though her time here was far too short, the impact she made is immeasurable. Carly's love and light will continue to shine through the lives of those she touched.
