Burnette Harkness Yancey, age 94, passed away Friday, May 29, 2020 at her residence. Burnette was born in Ecru, MS and was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Wesley Yancey.  She is survived by her children, Patricia Carol Birmingham and Deborah Kay Koonce of Tennessee; four grandchildren, Tonya Poole, Kelly Poole, Justin Koonce and Brandon Koonce and four great-grandchildren, Madison Poole, Lauren Hasib, Ty & Mckenzie Koonce.

She loved flowers and enjoyed sewing but her greatest love was her family.

Services will be held at Memorial Park Funeral home in Memphis, TN.

In accordance with the CDC, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing still applies and will be adhered to.
