Brian Salvi, age 60, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah.

Brian was born in Albany, NY.  He has lived in Richmond Hill for the past 21 years.  He retired from the U.S. Army in Ft. Benning, GA after 21 1/2 years of service as a Ranger and Master Sergeant.  After retirement he worked as a Quality Control Specialist for Pegagus.

Brian was a soldier of the Lord and a leader to Christ.  He was a little league coach and Boy Scout leader.  Brian was an American Hero.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Beth Salvi; his daughters, Priscilla Ford (Robert) and Dawn Salvi; his sons, Brian Salvi, Jr. (Paige), Joseph Carter (Stacey), and Gary Carter; his mother, Lenora Crandall; five siblings; fourteen grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 20, 2021 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be held in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, GA.

Masks are required to attend the service due to the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19.
