Brian E. Hunter, age 80, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Brian was born in Rock Hill, SC.  He has lived in Richmond Hill for the past 55 years.  He retired from Civil Service at Fort Stewart as a Graphic Designer and was the former owner of Dolphin Signs in Hinesville.

Brian loved the Bible and he loved serving his church.  He was a member and former Deacon of First Baptist Church Richmond Hill.  Brian was a former neighborhood ball coach and he enjoyed golf and playing softball.  He loved his family very much.

He is survived by his wife, Mattie Hunter of Richmond Hill; his children, Michelle Zerbe of Jacksonville, FL, Tammy Henriquez (Aaron) of Roswell, GA, and Brian Scott Hunter (Heidi) of Cumming, GA; his sister, Barbara Hinson of Rock Hill, SC; his half sister, Erlene Freeman (Randy) of North Carolina; his half brother, David McAteer (Bonita) of Rock Hill, SC; his grandchildren, Ashley Braxton, Katelyn Hunter, Lauren Hunter, Ethan Hunter, and Caleb Hunter; his great-grandchildren, Audrey Braxton and Madilynn Braxton.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Ted Hodges officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
