Barbara Gwendolyn Rodgers, 82, was born on September 25, 1943, and passed away on December 20, 2025. She lived in Richmond Hill, Georgia, for the past 6 years and previously resided in Savannah, Georgia.

Barbara was a retired registered nurse, dedicating 35 years of her life to caring for others. During her career, she worked at various hospitals and health clinics, including Charter Hospital of Savannah. Nursing was more than a profession to her—it was a calling.

In her free time, Barbara enjoyed attending book club, writing poems and participating in exercise classes. She valued staying active and spending time with others.

She is survived by her son, Brandon Rodgers (Kim); her three sisters, Alexis Hutchinson, Alexine Hutchinson, and Valerie Hutchinson-Kent; her two brothers, Samuel Hutchinson and Donald Hutchinson; and her four grandchildren, Devin Rodgers, Alyssa Rodgers, Grayson Rodgers, and Braxton Rodgers, and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her career, and the many lives she touched through her work and kindness.
