Ann Griffin went on to Glory surrounded by her children and loving husband on February 27th, 2017.  She was born in Afton, VA on October 23, 1943, one of 10 children of Jessie Davidson Baber and Mary Adelle Baber. Ann was the most loving, caring and unselfish person you could ever meet.  She devoted her life to serving God, her family and many others and touched more lives with her testimony and sharing of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ than we'll ever know this side of eternity.  If you knew her, you loved her; you couldn't help it.  She was known by many in the Savannah area where she worked as manager at White Way Cleaners before retiring a few years ago.  She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Richmond Hill.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Garry L. Patterson of Savannah, GA; her mother and father; brothers, Sam Baber, Henry Baber, Charles Baber, Robert Baber, Austin Baber. She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Joseph Griffin of Savannah, GA; first husband and still family, Kenneth H. Link of Waynesboro, VA; 4 children: Tammy Link of Pooler, GA, H. W. Link and wife Melissa of Waynesboro, VA, Dawn Wright and husband Michael of Mobile, AL, Rhonda Brooks of Stuarts Draft, VA;  Sisters Virginia (Larry) Wade of Waynesboro, VA,  Ruby (Clyde) Raines of Winchester, VA, Lucy Baber of Waynesboro, VA,  Brother John H. Baber and wife of Paw Paw, WV; Grandchildren, Step Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Step Great Grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Family will receive friends at Bethel Baptist Church in Richmond Hill, GA on Wednesday, March 1st, from 6-7 p.m., with services following, led by Pastor Brian Cooper.  Burial will be Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Riverview Cemetery at 11 a.m. in Waynesboro, VA with graveside services led by Pastor Richard Owen.

There will be no public viewing.
