Rincon/Savannah – Alton Hope, Jr., age 57, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Hospice Savannah.

Alton was born in Portland, Maine. He lived most of his life in Rincon before moving to Savannah two years ago.  He retired from Gulfstream Aerospace where he helped build the first fuselage for the G-650 jet.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Hope and a sister, Stephanie Hope.

Alton is survived by his father and step-mother, Alton "Cotton" Hope, Sr. (Gloria); two sisters, Patricia Roloff of Wichita, KS and Coralee Hope of Metter, GA.

Visitation will be from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm before the service.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Richmond Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Cooper officiating.
