Ahavila Marie Tomlinson, affectionately known as Havi, was carried by the angels to her forever home, on Monday, June 19, 2023, at the age of 43. She left this world at the MUSC Medical Center in Charleston, S.C., surrounded by loved ones who cherished her deeply.

Havi was a loving wife, devoted mother, and an extraordinary individual who touched the lives of all who knew her. After growing up overseas in the Philippines, Thailand, and Japan with her missionary family, and traveling the world as a teenager, Ahavila chose to make the low country her home.

Havi's vibrant spirit was infectious, her love for humor kept her friends and family laughing daily whether it be in her company, or through the jokes and anecdotes she frequently shared. Havi had a unique ability to uplift others and bring a smile to their faces, making her presence unforgettable. Her huge heart made her, truly, one of the most giving and compassionate people one could ever hope to meet.

As a mother, Havi's love knew no bounds. Her two daughters, Kayley and Karalyn, were the center of her world. She poured her heart and soul into raising them, instilling in them a deep sense of compassion, kindness, and resilience that will guide them throughout their lives. And, whether it was the holidays she loved, or just a gathering of family or friends, you could always feel the love and fondness between Havi and her cherished Billy. Their bond created a home filled with warmth and affection. Havi's memory will forever live on through the love and special moments shared by her beloved family.

Not only was Havi a pillar of love and support for her family, her love for animals was evident in her affection for her cherished Boston Terrier puppies, whom she adored and showered with treats and cuddles, and the fact that her heart was always touched and concerned for any animal or creature in need of help.

Professionally, Havi was a renowned cosmetologist in Savannah. Her exceptional talent and dedication were recognized by many, as her work was featured in magazines, photo shoots, and admired by a loyal clientele who trusted her expertise for years. Her passion for her craft was undeniable, and she approached every client with a genuine desire to make them feel beautiful both inside and out.

Ahavila Marie Tomlinson will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. In our hearts, Havi's memory will forever shine bright, reminding us to embrace life with kindness, laughter, and an unwavering love for those who mean the most to us. As we mourn her passing, let us also celebrate her remarkable life and the profound impact she made on the lives of others.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Ahavila Marie Tomlinson leaves behind an incredible legacy that we will always hold dear in remembrance. She will be deeply missed by her husband; Billy Tomlinson, her daughters; Kayley and Karalyn, her family, and all those fortunate enough to have been touched by her radiant spirit.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Lane officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Interment services will be private.
