Abraham Blige, Jr., 67, of Richmond Hill, entered into eternal rest on October 1, 2025.

He was born on July 26, 1958, and lived his entire life in Richmond Hill. Abraham was a member of Bryan Neck Missionary Baptist Church. Over the years, he worked as a shrimper for Hinton Arnsdorff and a crabber for Charlie Anderson. He also loved farming, planting gardens, hunting, and landscaping.

He was preceded in death by his father, Abraham Blige, Sr., and siblings Isaac, Samuel, Martha, and Donnell.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving mother, Louise Janie Blige; siblings Silvia Blige, John Wesley Blige, Josephine Blige, Debra Blige, Willie Louise Blige, Pattie Blige, and Mary Golden; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Richmond Hill Funeral Home.

Home Going services will be held at 11 a.m., October 11, 2025 at Bryan Neck Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow in Bryan Neck Cemetery.
